The Dark Chocolate Box is for the true dark chocolate lover.  This box is designed to let you experience and enjoy chocolate in one of it’s most purest ways: dark chocolate. As a result the chocolate bars in this box focus on showcasing the different and unique flavours from different cacao origins. But it also includes a couple of flavoured varieties, to give you the best of both worlds. It is like travelling the world through chocolate! Most importantly, every chocolate bar featured in this box has been made in New Zealand. Some of the origins that have featured in previous boxes for example are: Tanzania, Peru, Solomon Islands, Madagascar, and Papa New Guinea.

This box features intense and deep flavours, made by some of the best New Zealand bean-to-bar chocolate makers and chocolatiers (in my opinion).
It is the perfect box for people who enjoy non-sweet chocolate.

The selection changes every month, and is kept a surprise.

How much chocolate is in each box?

You can choose from 3 different options;

• Mini (3 small, or 2 large, full size products)
• Original (4 large full size products)
• Deluxe (6 large full size products)

What kind of chocolate will I get?

This one-off chocolate box includes a variety of full sized product types (no little sample bags of tiny pieces, you get the full bar to enjoy), such as: bean-to-bar chocolate tablets, filled chocolates, dipped chocolates, and other chocolate creations. I am very picky, and source from a range of great New Zealand chocolatiers and chocolate makers. I hope to bring you chocolates you haven’t tried yet, even if you are a chocoholic. How soon will the chocolate be delivered?

The Dark Chocolate Boxes are dispatched every Monday and you will be send an email with the tracking details. If you need the box to be delivered on a specific date please email kim@thechocolatetour.co.nz with your order number so I can try to accommodate your request.

Is this box allergy friendly?

Most artisan and craft chocolate bars are dairy-free and gluten-free. However, if you have specific allergies or dietary requirements please email me on kim@thechocolatetour.co.nz with your order number so that I can ensure the contents of your box are suitable.
